Essay conditions:
In order to enter the Sucany Alumni Essay Writing Competition, you must be a current student of Sucany grammar school and a member of Sucany Alumni first. Please follow the contact details of Sucany Alumni for further information on membership. Each student can only enter once and choose one topic only.
The essay must be written in the English language. Although the quality of grammar and spelling will not be the main criteria, you should make every effort to use good English. Emphasis will be put on the structure, ideas, original thinking, backed-up arguments, examples, etc. The length of the essay should not exceed more than 1,000 words. The essay has to be word-processed. Regarding the content, this is left exclusively to students and their original thought.
Winners of the two topics will be announced at the next Christmas assembly and will be awarded with a book voucher worth 50 Euros each.
The essay deadline is the 7th of December (Monday, 7th Dec. 2009).
Selection process
Best essays will be selected by the Sucany Alumni executive committee.
